WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Instructor, Vehicle Maintenance will develop, coordinate, and manage all operational training for new and current employees to maintain company standards for operating equipment, providing customer service, and regulations adherence.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field. Related experience may be substituted for a degree on a year for year basis for up to four years.
- Class B/CDL license with passenger endorsement.
- Three (3) years’ experience delivering training programs, curriculum, and classes for a medium or large organization.
- Three (3) years’ experience in transit environment with three (3) years of supervisory or lead experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of authority operations; safety, labor, and transit regulations; and training principles and practices.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule, sometimes with minimal notice.
• Ability to manage inter-departmental projects, supervise employees, develop curriculum and training materials.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems. 12, 24 or high voltage.
• Familiarity with automotive or diesel manufacturer OEM software, Cummins, Allison, Voith, etc.
