Overall Expectations
The Board of Directors serves as the policy body of the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce. As a group, they are responsible for approving an annual business plan and budget. The Board reviews all financial reports and has a fiduciary responsibility to the organization and its members. The Board works together in a selfless manner with good intentions for members' businesses and the community.
Time Commitment
Board Members are expected to serve a 3-year term (Jan. 2026- Dec. 2028). Meetings are held 12 months a year on the second Wednesday of the month. Three absences can result in removal from the Board. Board members are also encouraged to serve on a committee and/or attend events to show support for the organization. It is through the support of our volunteers that we can provide the many opportunities for our members on an annual basis.
